Major General K.A.N Rasika Kumara ndc psc assumed office as the 33rd Commander, Security Forces (Jaffna) on 24 June 2025.
To commemorate this occasion, the newly appointed Commander, Security Forces (Jaffna), planted a sapling and posed for a group photograph with the troops. He then addressed the troops of Security Force Headquarters (Jaffna), and emphasized the critical importance of maintaining discipline within the ranks, balancing military and personal life while managing salary.
Additionally, he briefed his expectations to the under-command Officers. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
