Major General K.J.N.M.P.K Nawarathna RWP RSP ndu of the Gemunu Watch assumed duties as the 35th Commander, Security Forces (Jaffna) on 04 April 2026 at the Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna).
The formal ceremony, held at the Commander’s Office, included the signing of official documents and the observance of religious rituals, invoking blessings for his new responsibilities.
