Major General J.S.B.W. Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander of Security Forces (East), visited the Dimbulagala Forest Monastery, a site of historical and religious significance located in the Polonnaruwa District on 09 July 2025.
During the visit, the Senior Officer met the Chief Incumbent of the Dimbulagala Forest Monastery, Most Venerable Dimbulagala Rahulalankara Nayaka Thera, and respectfully received his blessings.
Thereafter, the Senior Officer toured the temple premises and inspected the ongoing construction work being conducted by Army troops to enhance the infrastructure of the sacred site.
