Commander of the Army Visits Emergency Safety Centre at Rajasinghe College, Wellampitiya

Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, paid a visit to the Emergency Safety Centre established at Rajasinghe College, Wellampitiya, on 29 November 2025 to assess the wellbeing of affected residents and review the ongoing disaster-relief operations in the area.

During the inspection, the Army Chief engaged with evacuated families sheltered at the centre, inquiring about their immediate needs, health concerns, and overall welfare.
