Major General K.V.N.P Premaratne RSP USP nps psc, Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF), undertook his maiden visit to the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force Training School (SLAVFTS) on 14 November 2025.
Upon his arrival at the Training School, he was warmly welcomed by Colonel T.S.B.R Fernando, Commandant of SLAVFTS, and was accorded a Guard Turnout by the troops of the SLAVFTS.
Then he was briefed by on the prevailing academic and non-academic functions of the training school by the Commandant of SLAVFTS. Later on he addressed the troops of SLAVFTS and penned a complimentary remark in the Visitors’ Books.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the visit.
