Major General P.K.W.W.M.J.S.B.W Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc assumed office as the 22nd Colonel of the Regiment of the Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) on 30 June 2025 at the SLNG Regimental Centre.
Upon his arrival, he was accorded a Guard Turnout and subsequently planted a sapling at the premises to commemorate the day’s event. Thereafter, he placed a floral wreath at the War Heroes’ monument and attended the All-Ranks tea, followed by a troop address.
Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
