The Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare (CIJW) Officers Course No-35, conducted from 28 April to 01 August 2025, successfully concluded at the Army Training School (ATS), Maduru Oya.
Brigadier K.L.I. Karunanayake RWP RSP ndc, the Commandant of ATS, graced the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest and delivered the concluding address.
The course was attended by 31 officers, including 22 from the Sri Lanka Army, 2 from the Navy, 2 from the Air Force and 5 officers representing the Indian Army, Pakistan Army, Bangladesh Army, Maldives National Defence Force and the Chinese Army.
Captain H.G.J.K.D. Pathiraja of the Sri Lanka Artillery was named as the Best Student Officer of the course.
