Upon the instructions of Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, the Commander of the Army, a Christmas celebration programme was successfully conducted on 23 December 2025 at Abimansala 3 Wellness Resort.
The event was organized with the objective of uplifting the morale of disabled war heroes undergoing treatment at the wellness resort, as well as their dedicated caretakers. As part of the programme, a Catholic religious prayer service was held, followed by the distribution of Christmas gifts.
The occasion was graced by Major General K.M.V. Kodituwakku ndu, General Officer Commanding, 57 Infantry Division, as the Chief Guest. Senior officers, officers and other ranks participated in the event.
