The Inter Regiment Athletics Meet – 2026 of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers was held on 08 March 2026 at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium, Diyagama and the closing ceremony was graced by Major General D.K.S.K. Dolage USP nps psc, Chief of Staff of the Army and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, as the Chief Guest.
Throughout the day, athletes competed enthusiastically in a wide range of track and field events, displaying remarkable speed, endurance, strength and determination.
During the ceremony, trophies and awards were presented to the winning teams and outstanding athletes in recognition of their exceptional performances and remarkable achievements during the meet. Major General B.G.S. Fernando USP Hdmc psc, the Military Secretary of the Army and the Chairman of Army Athletics Committee (AAC), Major General C.D. Wickramanayake WV RSP ndc, the Chief Field Engineer, Brigadier K.A.D.C.R. Kannangara RSP ndc, Director of Sports, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
