Brigadier W.V.S. Botejue (Retd) RWP RSP psc passed away on 25 November 2025 after a brief illness while receiving treatment at the Army Hospital, Narahenpita. He was 76 years old at the time of his demise.
The remains of the late senior officer will lie at the A.F. Raymond Funeral Parlour, Borella, from 8.00 a.m. on 26 November 2025 onwards for the paying of last respects.
His funeral, with full military honours, is scheduled to be held at the General Cemetery, Borella, at 5.30 p.m. on 27 November 2025.
