Brigadier I.H.S. Wijesena (Retd) passed away on 30 December 2025. He was 63 years old at the time of his demise.
The remains of the late senior officer will lie at his residence, 19/A/5, Aswedduama Uyana, Millavitiya, Kuruwita on 31 December 2025 onwards for the paying of last respects.
His funeral, with full military honours, is scheduled to be held at the General Cemetery, Pussella, at 4.00 p.m. on 02 January 2026.
