The Batticaloa Civil Society Committee (BCSC) conducted a certificate awarding ceremony on 28 December 2025 at the International University of Science and Technology, Punani, awarding certificates to 200 students who successfully completed 12 months diploma courses.
Major General J.S.B.W. Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander, Security Forces (East) and Major General J.P.P. Kulathilaka ndu, General Officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division, participated in the ceremony as distinguished guests.
Certificates were formally awarded to students who completed diploma programmes in various subject areas, marking a significant milestone in their academic journeys.
