The Basic Disaster Response Course No. 29 was successfully conducted from 05 January 2026 to 13 February 2026 at the Sri Lanka Army Centre for Disaster Response Training (SLACDRT), Gampola.
A total of 05 Officers and 121 Other Ranks participated in the course, enhancing their knowledge and practical skills in disaster response operations and emergency management.
The closing remarks were delivered by Colonel W.M. Samantha, Commandant of the SLACDRT, who commended the participants for their dedication and highlighted the significance of preparedness and professionalism in disaster response missions.
