Army Troops under Security Forces (East) Distribute Dry Ration Packs Among 100 Low - Income Families

Under the direction and supervision of Major General J.S.B.W. Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander Security Forces (East) and instructions of Major General G.P.P. Kulathilaka ndc, the General Officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division, the 7th Battalion the Gemunu Watch organised a community welfare programme to distribute dry ration packs and clothing items to 100 low-income families.

The event was conducted under the close supervision of Colonel S.J.M.N.S. Perera USP, the Commander, 233 Infantry Brigade and the leadership of Major R.W.M.K. Rathnayake USP LLMC the Commanding Officer, 7th Battalion the Gemunu Watch at ABU Restaurant & Banquet Hall, Kawaththamunai on 08 November 2025.

The dry ration packs and clothing items distributed during the event were generously sponsored by Mr. Ranjan Antoniyo and members of the Rotary Club.
