Army troops conducted a school stationery distribution programme for children at Manampitiya Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya and Manampitiya Tamil Maha Vidyalaya in Manampitiya, Dimbulagala on 03 January 2026.
The financial contribution for the initiative was generously provided by Ashoka English Medium School, Horana.
Venerable Dr. Labugama Narada Thero, Principal of Vidyarathne University College, Horana, Major A.C.W. Gunasekara, RSP, Commanding Officer of the 12th Battalion, the Gemunu Watch, senior officers, officers, other ranks, Managing Director of Ashoka English Medium School, participated in the event.
