Troops of the 9th Battalion the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment constructed a new house for a needy family in Seruwila area.
The housewarming ceremony was held on 18 August 2025, and the Commander Security Force (East), Major General J.S.B.W. Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The project was coordinated by Major General H.D.L.S. Perera RWP RSP ndc, General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division. The construction materials and household furnishings for this housing project were generously sponsored by Mrs. Disna Galappaththi.
