Troops of 51 Infantry Division under command to Security Forces (Jaffna) conducted a donation programme at Puttur Madihe Pannasiha Vidyalaya in Jaffna for the students of Madihe Pannasiha Vidyalaya and Uduvil Murugamoorthy Vidyalaya, on 12 November 2025, as a part of Dhamma Yathra initiative, to commemorate the 170th Anniversary of the first ordination of the Sri Kalyani Samagri Dharma Maha Sabha in Kotte.
During the event, school uniforms, books, school bags, vouchers for school shoes and other essential educational materials were distributed among 106 students. Additionally, refreshments were provided to all attendees.
Furthermore, 51 Infantry Division organised an alms giving for the Maha Sangha at the Officers’ Mess.
Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, principals, teachers and students participated in the event.
