Army Soldier Establishes Multiple Serendib World Records

Private R.K.P.A.R.K. Rajapaksha of the 14th Battalion of the Sri Lanka National Guard has brought significant pride and distinction to the Army by establishing multiple Serendib World Records, under the supervision of the Serendib World Records Committee, on 21 March 2026 at the Padawiya Public Playground. His exceptional physical strength, determination and distinctive abilities were demonstrated through a series of demanding performances.

The Serendib World Records achieved are as follows:

• Peeling four coconuts using the teeth within one minute.

• Peeling ten coconuts using the teeth within three minutes.

• Lifting a weight of 80 kilograms using the teeth.

In recognition of these outstanding accomplishments, the Serendib World Records Committee awarded him official certificates and trophies at the event.

This achievement highlights the high standards of physical endurance, courage and discipline upheld by members of the Sri Lanka Army.
