In line with the Sri Lanka Army restructuring process, a comprehensive awareness programme on modern Human Resource Management (HRM) practices was conducted on 07 January 2026 at the Army Headquarters.
The programme was organised by the Perspective Planning and Implementation Cell under the direction of the Commander of the Army, under the guidance of the Chief of Staff and the supervision of the Director Staff Duties.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Suren Perera of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and focused on strengthening institutional understanding and the effective application of contemporary HRM principles.
A total of 185 personnel, comprising 95 Officers and 90 Other Ranks participated in the workshop.
