Army Chief Attends the Graduation Ceremony of DSCSC Course No-19

Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, attended the graduation ceremony of the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) Course No-19, held on 16 December 2025 at the Nelum Pokuna Theatre.

Hon. (Dr) Harini Amarasuriya, the Prime Minister of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, graced the event as the Chief Guest.

DSCSC Course No-19 comprised 149 undergraduates, including 26 foreign Officers, 74 Army Officers, 25 Navy Officers and 24 Air Force Officers. On this occasion, they were awarded the ‘Passed Staff College’ (psc) qualification, in the presence of a distinguished gathering of scholars and invitees.

Heads of Diplomatic Missions and other members of the Diplomatic Corps, Members of the Board of Management of the DSCSC, former members of the academia, Senior Officers of the Tri-Services, as well as family members of the graduates were also present at the ceremony.

During the ceremony, the Chief Guest, together with the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence and the Commandant of the DSCSC, joined in presenting special accolades to those who excelled in academic achievements.
