The 9th South Asian Karate Championship, organised by the Sri Lanka Karate Federation, was held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium on 05 and 06 July 2025.
A total of 09 Army athletes, representing the National Karate Team, participated in the competition and showcased outstanding performances by securing 02 Gold Medals, 02 Silver Medals, and 01 Bronze Medal.
The athletes competed under the full supervision of Major General R.D Sallay ndc, the Chairman of the Army Karate Committee.
