In line with the concept of Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, the Commander of the Army and under the supervision of Brigadier U.R.I.B. Ranatunge RSP USP, Commandant of Abhimansala–1, a Christmas prayer and blessing ceremony was conducted by Bishop Professor Norbert Andradi, Diocese of Anuradhapura for the inmates on 23 December 2025 at the Abhimansala–1 Wellness Resort, Anuradhapura.
The event was graced by Major General T. N. K. Perera, General Officer Commanding, 21 Infantry Division, as the Chief Guest. Subsequently, gift parcels were distributed among the inmates, followed by the singing of Christmas carols.
Major General K.G.U.T Jayasinghe, Logistic Commander Security Forces(Wanni), senior officers, officers and other ranks participated in the event.
