The Directorate of Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) conducted awareness programmes on financial management at the Regimental Headquarters of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps on 25 February 2026, Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps on 04 March 2026, Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment on 10 March 2026 and Sri Lanka Engineers on 17 March 2026.
The lectures were conducted by Colonel K.A.D.C.J. Kodithuwakku, Director of ABF. The programme focused on enhancing financial literacy by educating participants on the importance of long-term savings. The sessions also highlighted practical approaches to managing monthly income, increasing savings and planning for future financial security during retirement.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the lectures.
