The 9th Battalion of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (9 VIR) constructed a new house for a needy family and handed over the keys of house to the benificiary at Sirimangalapura on 04 July 2025.
The Commander, Security Forces (East) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
This initiative was made possible through the generous sponsorship of the Department of Samurdhi Development and philanthropists, including Mr Chamil Jayan.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
