The 58 Infantry Division commemorated its 16th Anniversary amidst religious and military formalities under the guidance of Major General A.M.A Abeyawardana WWV RWP RSP ndc, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 58 Infantry Division at the Division Headquarters on 02 July 2025.
In accordance with military traditions, the GOC was accorded a Guard Turnout, followed by an All-Ranks lunch.
In line with the anniversary celebrations, an almsgiving for the children at Shalorn Children’s Home and a bodhi pooja programme were conducted by the Division. Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and Civilian employees participated in the celebrations.
