The 51 Infantry Division conducted an almsgiving programme on 27 July 2025 at Mother Teresa Elders' Home in Irupalai, St. Lucas Methodist Elders’ Home in Puttur, and Udaya Surian Pre-School in Selvapuram, Urumpirai.
Financial contribution for the initiative was provided by Major General (Retd) Ravi Rathnasingham. The programme provided essential items to 100 beneficiaries.
Major General M.P.N.A Muthumala USP psc, General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division graced the event as the Chief Guest. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
