The 16th Contingent of the Sri Lanka Force Protection Company (SLFPC), after officially assuming peacekeeping duties under the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), participated as role players in Patrolling, CASEVAC, and Denial of Freedom of Movement activities on 16 and 17 July 2025. These were conducted in collaboration with the Indonesian Force Protection Unit and the Malaysian Battalion in a series of scenarios involving an IED explosion followed by an ambush and the escorting of a CASEVAC.
Sri Lankan peacekeepers, comprising 02 Officers and 16 Other Ranks, took part in the exercise along with two Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs).
