The Army Inter-Regiment Elle Championship – 2025, organised by the Sri Lanka Army Elle Committee, concluded successfully at the Diyagama International Sports Complex on 12 December 2025, showcasing the talents of over 300 players representing twelve regiments of the Sri Lanka Army.
In a closely contested men’s final, the Sri Lanka Light Infantry emerged champions by defeating the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps, while the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps secured third place.
In the women’s category, 2 (V) Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps claimed the championship title while 3 (V) Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps became runners-up position.
Major General K.V.N.P. Premaratne RSP USP nps psc, Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and President of the Sri Lanka Army Elle Committee, graced the final ceremony as the Chief Guest.
