The Internal Affairs Unit (IAU) convened its 3rd Quarter Review Meeting at the Chief of Staff Office on 11 November 2025 to evaluate ongoing anti-corruption initiatives and finalise preparations for International Anti-Corruption Day, scheduled for 09 December 2025.
The meeting was chaired by Major General D.K.S.K. Dolage USP nps psc, Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and Head of the IAU. The session reviewed the complaints summary, confirming that all reported cases had been appropriately addressed to uphold transparency and accountability in the organisation.
The Anti-Corruption Initiative Assessment indicated notable progress in awareness programmes, enforcement of the code of conduct and coordination with legal and human rights directorates.
Plans for the forthcoming Anti-Corruption Day will revolve around the theme “Institutional Integrity for a Transparent and Accountable Military Culture”, with islandwide units set to conduct lectures, poster displays and awareness campaigns to strengthen the Army’s dedication to ethical conduct and good governance.
