A grand felicitation ceremony was held on 21 March 2025 at the Gajaba Regimental Centre, Saliyapura, to honour Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B. Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc upon his prestigious appointment as the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army.

Sri Lanka Army holds its new Army Doctrinal Publication launching ceremony on 20 March 2025 at Army Headquarters. Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, the Commander of the Army, graced the event as the Chief Guest.

On 18 March 2025, Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, made an official visit to the Security Forces Headquarters - West (SFHQ-West). The visit highlighted the Army’s commitment to operational excellence and the well-being of its personnel, reinforcing its dedication to safeguarding national security.

The World Para Athletic Grand Prix sports competition, held on 12 March 2025 in New Delhi, India, brought together top para-athletes from around the globe to compete in various track and field events.

The Rowing Championship of the 13th Defence Services Games took place on 24 and 25 February 2025 at the Diyawanna Rowing Centre, organized by the Sri Lanka Army Rowing Committee.

The Annual Sports Meet of Dharmaraja College, Kandy, was held at the Lake View Park Ground on 12 March 2025. Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, the Chief of Staff, graced the event as the Chief Guest following an invitation from the School Principal. He is also a past pupil of Dharmaraja College.

Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army, paid an official visit to the 9 Field Engineer Regiment on 12 March 2025 as part of an initiative to ensure the Army's administrative readiness at the ground operational level.

Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) made an official visit to the Field Engineer Brigade and 8 Field Engineer Regiment on 11 March 2025, as part of an initiative to ensure the Army's operational and administrative readiness on the ground.

Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, the Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, made a visit to the Army Base Hospital in Diyatalawa on 15th March 2025.

Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, visited the Security Force Headquarters (SFHQ-Cen) on 16th and 17th March 2025. The visit provided an opportunity for the Commander of the Army to receive an in-depth update on the role and operational tasks of the (SFHQ-Cen) Headquarters.
