Following suicide cadres of National Thowheeth Jama'ath (NTJ), responsible for Shangirilla Hotel, Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Kingsbury Hotel, St. Sebastian Church, Katuwapitiya, Negombo, St. Anthony’s Church, Kotahena, Zion Church, Batticaloa, Tropical Inn, Dehiwala and Dematagoda Mahawila Garden explosions have been identified, according to the office of the Police spokesman, Superintendent of Police Ruwan Gunasekara.
