Troops serving the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-Cen) offered their labour assistance to bring the railway movement along Bandarawela-Badulla track to normalcy after clearing an earth layer that has fallen on to the rail tracks this morning (6), near Kinigama Railway Station in the Bandarawela Divisional Secretariat area.

17 members of the Central troops including one officer on the directions of Major General Ruwan De Silva, Commander, Security Forces - Central (SF-Cen) rushed to the location and joined hands with railway workers to clear the passage for train movements.

It took over two hours for both troops and railway workers to complete the task. |
