Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander Security Forces (Central) made his official visit to 12 Infantry Division Area on 10 December 2024.

On his arrival at the main entrance, he was warmly welcomed by Brigadier K.H.M.U.B Kolongahapitiya USP, Commander of the 122 Infantry Brigade. Then, the Commander of Security Forces (Central) was accorded a drive-pass by the troops of 12th Battalion, the Gajaba Regiment.

Afterward, the Officers and Other Ranks of 12 Infantry Division Headquarters, under command Brigades and Battalions were addressed by the Commander Security Forces (Central), highlighting the appropriate way of dealing with social media, refraining from illegal activities and highlighted about the importance of financial management. Finally, he emphasised the importance of maintaining a high level of discipline among Officers and Other Ranks.

Further, All Ranks of 12 Infantry Division greeted the Commander of Security Forces (Central) with a plaque before his departure from the premises.
