4 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR), celebrated its 39th anniversary on 1 December 2024 with customary military formalities, under the guidance of the Commanding Officer, Major H.M.P.K. Bandara RSP USP psc.

The celebrations included a ceremonial guard turnout, Battalion parade, the planting of a sapling, a group photograph, and an All-Ranks tea gathering. A series of religious observances preceded the event, including flag blessings at Ruhunu Katharagama Devalaya, the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy, and Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi in Anuradhapura, followed by a Bodhi Pooja on 25 November 2024.

On 29 November, an almsgiving program was organized for the residents of the Sri Paramananda Children and Elderly Home in Nelliady. The anniversary also featured inter-company sports events, including tug-of-war, kabaddi, cricket, and a drill competition. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
