Major General K.A.U. Kodituwakku RSP USP psc IG, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 11 Infantry Division, participated in the ceremonial opening of a new Shrine and Buddha Statue at Sri Chakindarama Purana Maha Viharasthanaya, Gampola, on 10 November 2024.

The event conducted coinciding with the 114th annual Katina Pooja Pinkama. Clergy, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, dignitaries, and devotees participated in the event.
