Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander Security Forces - Central and Colonel of the Regiment of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) visited the 4th Battalion SLLI on 15 October 2024, following his assumption of duties.

The Commander Security Forces - Central was warmly welcomed with military formalities by Major P.K. Waruvangodage RWP RSP USP Lsc, the Commanding Officer, 4 SLLI.

After receiving a comprehensive briefing on the battalion's role and tasks, the Senior Officer addressed the troops.

The General Officer Commanding of the 11 Infantry Division, Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks also participated in the event.
