Under the guidance of Major General E.M.M. Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, Commander of the Logistics Command and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (SLAOC), and in celebration of the SLAOC anniversary, the SLAOC launched a commemorative stamp and first-day cover on 14 October 2024, at the Regimental Centre of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps in Dombagoda. The stamp represents the values of courage, dedicated service, and the important role of the Corps, featuring detailed artwork that highlights its rich history.

Deputy Postmaster General (Western Province), Mr. K.A.N.P. Kadanarachchi along with Postmaster General (Colombo) N. Lanarol and the Director of the Philatelic Bureau, L.G.N. de Silva, graced the event as the Chief Guest.
