Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 56 Infantry Division, conducted a formal visit to the 561 Infantry Brigade, 10 Sri Lanka Light Infantry and the 16 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment on 4 October 2024.

Upon his arrival, he received a warm welcome from the Commander of the 561 Infantry Brigade, Commanding Officers, Officers, and all troops present at the Brigade and under command units.

During his visit, GOC engaged directly with the troops, addressing their concerns and encouraging them in their duties. By concluding the visit, GOC signed the visitors' books. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks were present throughout the visit.
