Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, General Officer Commanding of the 56 Infantry Division, paid a formal visit to the 563 Infantry Brigade, 11 Gemunu Watch (GW), and 7 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) on 3 October 2024.

Upon his arrival, he was warmly welcomed by the Commander of the 563 Infantry Brigade, the Commanding Officers, Officers, and all troops of the respective Brigade and under command units.

During the visit, the GOC received comprehensive briefings on the roles, tasks, and operational status of each Brigade and its units. He also addressed the troops, directly engaging with them, and finally wrote in the visitors' books.
