In line with the 75th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army, Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Commander Security Forces (West), ceremonially planted a white sandalwood sapling on 10 October 2024 as part of the Army Day celebrations.

Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks also participated in the programme.
