Coinciding with World Children’s Day, the troops of the 241 Infantry Brigade organized a school items distribution programme on 4 October 2024, at the Amman Mahalirilla Children's Home in Akkaraipattu.

This initiative was conducted under the guidance of Brigadier L.S.D.N. Pathirathna RSP USP, the Commander of the 241 Infantry Brigade. Additionally, lunch was also provided for 34 students and staff of the children’s home.
