Major General T.C. Peiris RSP USP assumed duties as the 18th Chief Field Engineer (CFE) of the Sri Lanka Army during a brief ceremony held at Army Headquarters on 09 October 2024.

The newly appointed CFE signed an official document, signifying his acceptance of the new office amidst religious observances.

Council members of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the occasion.
