Major General K.A.U Kodithuwakku RSP USP psc IG, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 11 Infantry Division, visited the 1 Sri Lanka Rifle Corps (SLRC) on 01 October 2024.

Upon arrival, he was honoured in a Guard Turnout by the 1 SLRC troops and was warmly welcomed by Commanding Officer of 1 SLRC.

During the visit, the GOC planted a sapling in the camp premises, posed for group photographs with the troops, and penned his thoughts in the visitors’ book. The day concluded with a troop address and an All Ranks tea.
