Major General M.S Devapriya USP ndc, the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC) and General Officer Commanding 64 Infantry Division visited the 3 SLAC on 28 September 2024.

Upon his arrival, visiting Colonel Commandant paid his respects to fallen War Heroes by placing floral wreaths at the SLAC War Heroes monument. The Commanding Officer of the 3 SLAC warmly welcomed him and then accorded a Guard Turnout.

During the visit, he planted a sapling on the camp premises and posed for a group photograph with all Ranks, marking the occasion. He also listened to a detailed briefing by the Commanding Officer and then addressed all Officers.

He further inspected the camp premises. The day concluded with a lunch at the Officers' Mess. Before his departure, he penned down complimentary remarks in the visitors’ book.
