Directorate of Provost conducted an awareness lecture on dangerous drugs, their effects, and the legal framework for preventing illegal drug activities was held at Army Headquarters on 29 August 2024.

This programme was conducted under the direction of the Commander of the Army and the supervision of the Adjutant General. DIG (O/L) Oshan Hewawitharana of the Police Narcotic Division, Colombo, conducted the session. Over 874 Officers and 5729 Other Ranks participated in the programme, both in person and virtually.
