Major General G.M.N. Perera RWP RSP USP ndc, Commander Security Forces (Central), visited the 11 Infantry Division on 18 September 2024.

The day’s proceedings commenced with a ceremonial drive pass by the troops of the 10 Gajaba Regiment. The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 11 Infantry Division, warmly welcomed the visiting Commander.

During the visit, the Commander planted a sapling at the camp premises and posed for group photographs with the troops. The GOC of the 11 Infantry Division provided a comprehensive briefing on the current security situation, roles, tasks and the Division’s duties.

After the briefing, visiting Senior Officer addressed the troops, highlighting the responsibilities that lay upon the Officers and Other Ranks in fulfilling their duties. To conclude the visit, he signed the visitors’ book to commemorate the occasion.
