Major General M.T.I Mahalekam WWV RWP RSP USP ndu psc assumed duties as the 26th Colonel Commandant of the Military Intelligence Corps (MIC) during a ceremony at the Regimental Centre on 11 September 2024.

The event began with a warm reception by the Centre Commandant, followed by a Guard Turnout in his honour. Then, new Colonel Commandant paid tribute to fallen War Heroes at the monument and reviewed a Guard of Honor presented by MIC troops.

A group photograph was taken and the new Colonel Commandant signed an official document to mark his assumption of duties. He also planted a sapling in the camp premises. Addressing the troops, he shared his vision and engaged with all Ranks present.
