Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, the Commander Security Forces - West (SF-West) visited 57 Infantry Division, 571 Infantry Brigade, 573 Infantry Brigade, 20 Sri Lanka Light Infantry, 2 and 3 Gemunu Watch on 14 and 16 September 2024.

The Senior Officer was warmly welcomed by Senior Officers from the Division, Brigades and Battalions and was then accorded a Guard Turn Out.

During the visit, the Commander of SF-West planted a sapling at each camp and posed for group photographs with the troops. A comprehensive briefing was provided by the Senior Officers, detailing the roles, tasks and current situation in the Area of Responsibility.

Following the briefings, the Commander addressed the troops. He then joined the All-Ranks tea, engaging with the troops. Later, he signed the visitors’ book to mark the special occasion.
