Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA) organized a charity project under the initiative and guidance of Major General B.K.G.M.L Rodrigo RSP psc IG, Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Forces and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Artillery on 08 September 2024. This event was part of the celebrations marking the 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army.

During the event, dinner was provided for 18 children at the Sanhida Pandukalasa Teaching Center (Children’s Home). In addition to the almsgiving, the SLA contributed essential commodities and gift packs to the children, further enhancing the event's impact.
