At the request of the Principal of Madukanda National School, Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 56 Infantry Division, graced the investiture ceremony of the school as the Chief Guest on 13 September 2024.

During the ceremony, GOC together with the principal, pinned prefect badges to 32 newly appointed student leaders. In his brief address, he highlighted the importance of leadership, emphasizing that discipline and commitment are vital qualities for shaping responsible and effective leaders in society.
